Mia Sawyer, MSW Intern
(she/her/hers)
Beginning a journey to healing and self-discovery can be intimidating, but I’m here to help guide you through it. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to therapy, and I’m committed to creating a space where you feel comfortable to share.
During our sessions, we will explore your experiences and challenges together, and while we embrace them, we will also seek new areas for growth.
I’m looking forward to helping you build coping skills & resilience to tackle whatever life throws your way. I am here to listen, support, and empower you as we work together. I hope to help you identify your strengths and move through your journey with confidence.
I will complete my MSW in February 2025 through Walden University. I’m currently being supervised by Laura Jennings, LMSW-C. My education has been focused on trauma-informed treatment with continued self-learning in tf-CBT and Somatic techniques. My work combines Somatic tools with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as we work to achieve your goals together.
